Important dates for Inwido Compete & Incubate

First of all – many thanks for your interest in Inwido’s Open Innovation competition Compete & Incubate. We’ve gotten in contact with many people who are interested and want to find out more about the project, and the best way to do that is to frequently come back to this webpage.

Here are some important news and dates. Please note them in your calendar and confirm your participation to me. Don’t hesitate to contact Erik (eka@implement.eu) or Mats (md@ideoninnovation.se) should you have any questions.

News:

  • 20+ teams: We have right now 20+ teams consisting of companies and students which is way more than we anticipated (obviously we had too low expectations … 😉 ). The majority signed up the past week.
  • Startup Workshop: We therefore have to move the startup workshop until March 26th 9-17 at conference room Forum in Agora, Ideon.
  • Thursday Inspirational Speakers: We have signed up Pernilla Jonsson (http://www.kairosfuture.com/en/node/142) from Kairos Future, Thomas Geuken (www.thomasgeuken.com) from Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies, Daniel Melkersson (www.crowd.se) from Crowd and Bogdan Tudosoiu from HTC. There are at least two more that are in the signing phase. You will get inspired and energized.

Important dates:

  • March 26th: Startup Workshop at Forum in Agora, Ideon
  • April 12th – May 31st: Thursdays are different. Coaching, networking and inspiration (4pm – 6pm) followed by a joint dinner. All takes place at Agora, Ideon.
  • June 7th: Selection day. The jury selects ideas which are offered different kinds of funding depending on need and potential. Selected students are offered jobs.

What you have to do:

  • Confirm your participation by sending Erik an email (eka@implement.eu). State the idea with a headline, if you have an idea. Otherwise send a short resume so we know who you are (some of you have already done it – Thanks!).
  • Participate on March 26th with energy, enthusiasm and focus.
  • Present a prototype on June 7th

Best regards,

Mats & Erik
